We begin the semester with a review of basic relations (proportions) important in Physics. This will then lead into a review of important Kinematic/Dynamic topics from physics 30S that will be important in the first unit of the 40S course.

Chemistry 40S
We will be starting the course with a basic introduction to atomic structure, chemical bonding, and types of chemical reactions.

Science 20S
We will be starting the course with a study of basic chemistry principles. This will include basic lab safety, WHMIS, as well as an introduction to physical and chemical change. The purpose of this unit is to act as an introduction to Chemistry 30.

Outdoor Ed. 40S
We will be continuing with cross-country skiing, while we continue to work on a water quality unit. A number of students still have several overdue assignments to complete.
